 At Ranking Assets, we are committed to ensuring the security and protection of the personal information that we process, and to provide a compliant and consistent approach to data protection. We have always had a robust and effective data protection program in place which complies with existing law and abides by the data protection principles. However, we recognize our obligations in updating and expanding this program to meet the demands of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In the course of operating our Directory and Blog, we collect and process the following data:

• Directory Data: Business names, URLs, and public descriptions. Note that business contact information submitted for a public directory listing is considered public data by nature of the service.
• Personal Data: Names and email addresses used for account registration, guest post authorship, or editorial correspondence.
• Technical Data: IP addresses and browser cookies used for site security and analytics.

Ranking Assets operates globally. By using our service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to-and maintained on-computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. We take all necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy.

In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify the appropriate supervisory authority and affected individuals without undue delay, and in any event within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, where feasible.
